DYBALA Admits Telling Ronaldo He Hated Him Once.
The Roma striker Paulo Dybala opens up about wearing Francesco Totti’s No. 10 in the Capital and shares that as a youngster, he once told Cristiano Ronaldo that he detested him.
At Juventus for three years, La Joya and Ronaldo were reportedly not friendly with one another. However, the Argentinean stated he’s never had issues with the Portuguese superstar in his most recent interview with DAZN.

“I spent three nice years with Cristiano, the team was very strong and he added something more,” he remarked.
“Messi and Ronaldo have a fierce rivalry in Argentina. We were once travelling to a game, and while he was sitting somewhat in front of me, I was in the back of the plane. He approached me at some time, and after talking for a bit about life in general, I told him, “As a kid, I practically hated you.” We always got along well and laughed about it.
After his contract with Juventus expired in the summer of last year, Dybala signed with Roma as a free agent. The energy in the crowd makes it unusual to hear them sing the national anthem before to kickoff. It’s similar to looking at a work of art, he claimed.

“When Pinto contacted and this possibility presented itself, I was reminded of Rome-themed films and the gladiator’s mask. I was unable to stop thinking about it. I persuaded myself that I needed to make a difference in this city.
One of the factors that led Dybala, who had been in negotiations with Inter and Napoli, to finalise a move to Roma and sign a three-year contract, was the opportunity to work with José Mourinho.
“He [Mourinho] has a powerful image and influence for everything he stands for. Dybala said, “He is really good when he speaks and when he tries to get inside someone.

“I’ve had a unique emotion; it’s difficult to discover someone who talks true words. And practically all of what he says takes place on the pitch. He has won with practically every team he has coached, after all.
The Special One and he once got into a fight while he was playing for Juventus.
“I had never experienced it, but we argued during our Champions League match against Manchester United, but everything happened on the pitch.”
While his striking partner Tammy Abraham struggles with regularity, Dybala has scored 16 goals this season in all competitions.
Tammy is a young player, but with so much experience, we can undoubtedly accomplish even more than we are.
We’re getting to know one another, and we strive to play to the best of our abilities in the hopes that we can score the goals we need to qualify for the Champions League.
Roma hasn’t retired their famous No. 10, but no player has worn it since the Italian star retired in 2017.
When asked if he will ever take Francesco Totti’s place as Rome’s No. 10, Dybala responded, “Never say never. It would be a special obligation to wear it.
